Where am I?
During the three years that I spend it in the university, I passed through many challenges. Some of them created my personality and gave me the motivation to achieve my goals. On the other hand, some challenges frustrated me and tried to drain my strength, but I turned in my side.
I am in the last year at Qatar University as a student. I study English at the Education College. During my study at this college, I learn how to deal, understand and teach the foreign language to my students. In addition, I take several courses from many different fields to prepare myself as a thinker and teacher. The Education College gave me this chance by many courses, lectures, and the tutorial class. The University teaches me that the educators have a noble message to their students. We learned first that the value is more important than the knowledge we have. Also, we as educators must not limit ourselves in our field only, we have to increase our knowledge about others field. Furthermore, the chance of volunteering that I get a lot of benefit from in my future career and personal life. I gain many skills like collaboration, leadership, respect and love everyone.
Moreover, my professors was a great supporter of us as students. They gave us their experience that they learned for a long time in one course. Fortunately, we have a collaborative collage that gives us the chance to attend and observe other teachers while they teach in the schools. The administration, the faculty, and the student services in the collage tray their best to help and motivate us as students. They offered a lot of workshop during the semester to develop and enrich our knowledge. In addition, the College gave us the chance to meet many other academic from different majors to discuss with them educational topics. On the other hand, the most challenge I found is the schools themselves are not collaborate with us as new teachers. Finally, our Education College did not take into account that there are English major students that they need to take the educational courses in the English language to make us professional in this major.
